Major /Famous Natural Tourist Places of Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh, India is a region situated in the middle of the country, where different types of forests exist, many types of wild animals, rivers, mountains, which attract tourists from all over the world, and every year from different countries of the world. Tourists come to visit the natural tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh.
Panchmarhi
It is also known as the queen of Satpura and Kashmir of Madhya Pradesh,
It is also famous as the summer capital of Madhya Pradesh.
This is Sundernagar situated on a natural hill.
And here are famous tourist points like Pandava Fall, Handi Kho, Priyadarshini Point, Bade Mahadev, Gupta Mahadev, Jatashankar Caves, B Fall etc.
Bhedaghat
This place offers a very panoramic view of the flow of the Narmada River between the marble rocks on the Narmada River near Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh.
The famous waterfall Dhuandhar is located at Bhedaghat.
When the river Narmada falls down from the marble rocks, there is a smoke-like situation prevailing through the water droplets, this scene gives a great relief to the mind.
Major dams or reservoirs built on various rivers like Gandhi Sagar Dam which is built on the Chambal River in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, while Indira Sagar Dam which is built on the Narmada River in Nimar zone of Madhya Pradesh is also a major reservoir built on these dams. It is a natural tourist destination.
Madhya Pradesh has the largest national park in India, out of which Kanha Kisli National Park Panna National Park, Satpura National Park and some famous sanctuaries Nauradehi Sanctuary, Ratapani Sanctuary, etc. are the natural habitat of various wildlife animals in Madhya Pradesh's national parks and sanctuaries. Every year large number of people come from different countries of the world to see and for tourism in dense forests.

Ujjain
This city has been a major center of religious activities since ancient times.
Mahakal Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is situated here, which is situated on the banks of the Shipra River.

Chitrakoot
This place is located on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
Which belongs to Satna district,
Lord Sri Rama and Sita spent 11 out of 14 years of exile at this place and it was here that sages Atri and Sati Anusuya meditated.
Chitrakoot is world famous as the "site of Brahma Vishnu and Mahesh".
