Birsa Munda-

Birsa Munda - Place of leadership -Dagdaua (Umaria)

Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah

Shankar Shah was born in 1783 AD, the only son of Raja Shankar Shah Sumer Shah, the Gond ruler of Gadhmandala, Shankar Shah's son's name was Raghunath Shah, Raja Shankar Shah was very popular among the landlords and the general public, he led the revolution of 1857. Led from the Mahakoshal area, a traitor named Khushalchandra used to give all the information about the palace to the British, Shankar Shah was the king of Gondwana, who was blown up by the British along with his son Raghunath Shah on 15 September 1858 in the crime of instigating the rebellion. Both of them were from Gond society.

Self. Jamuni Devi

She was born on 19 November 1929 in Sardarpur (Dhar) and died on 24 September 2010, Late Jamuni Devi's surname was Buaji, she was awarded Bharat Jyoti Samman in 2001, was the first woman Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh (1998). And has the distinction of becoming the first woman Leader of the Opposition (2003, of the 12th Legislative Assembly).


Mr. Badal Bhoi

Badal Bhoi was a revolutionary leader of Chhindwara district, he was born in 1845 in Dungaria Titra village of Parasia tehsil, he led the non-cooperation movement in 1923, surrounded the collector's bungalow with thousands of tribals, arrested for breaking forest rules. He took his last breath in jail after being poisoned by the British ruler in 1940, his contribution to the national freedom struggle cannot be forgotten.


 Dhir Singh


Dhir Singh was born in 1820 AD in village Kachhiya Tola of Rewa state, on the orders of Maharaja of Rewa, Dhir Singh went to the place of Raja Ranjit Singh of Punjab, Dhir Singh on the advice of Shankar Shah in the revolution of 1857 Started revolution from Rewa state.


Ganjan Singh Korku

He was born in Ghoradongri of Betul district, in Betul in 1930 the movement of Jungle Satyagraha was done by Gunjan Singh Korku, in this Jungle Satyagraha, Gunjan Singh Korku's companion Banjari Singh Korku sacrificed his life.
