 What is the office of profit and which posts are not considered as profit positions ???

Provisions have been made in the Constitution of India for not holding the post of profit for the people sitting on constitutional and other important posts, which posts are considered as posts of profit here and which posts are not considered as posts of profit? Information about this is given.

The following posts are not considered to be posts of profit-

All political posts which are not considered to be posts of public service, such as the post of the President, the post of the Vice-President, the post of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the post of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the post of the Prime Minister, the post of the Chief Minister or the post of any other minister.

Which posts are considered to be office of profit -

The post of administrative service like Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, State Administrative Service or any other government service post is considered as a post of profit, if a person participates in the election while holding these posts, then he is not considered eligible. It is known that he is required to resign from these posts before participating in the election.
